@@jimroberts3009 he is cool too. but i must say, Thalasso Hobbyer is in my eyes a tiny bit cooler because he dont use a 3d printer and build everything from scratch
You all Act like you've never heard of Gerry the Rescue Squid! With all the billionaires making subs he's been very busy. Seriously, I want to go reread 20,000 Leagues and maybe watch the Disney movie again. Love it.
I almost feel like it some body else doing the art but the way it's made and sprayed n painted, I cannot tell. Beautiful art!!!! Very nice. Even if it's someone else talent is respectable.
Hi I'm truly so amazed by your work...this is the most beautiful and peaceful thing I have ever seen...but I have a question..what do you do with all your works after completing it?
Got a general question why'd you put it in a deep freezer? I know that resin gets hot. Just wondering why if it helps with the heating of the resin And if it makes any big difference
Curious as to why you use a Dremel for the water surface instead of the liquids they have available for that? Your results are stunning.......but just curious why you do it that way which seems a lot more time consuming.......and tedious. 😊
I feel like this resin pour is too clean for this scene. There should be a bunch of bubbles indicating motion and air escaping from the damaged submarine. Maybe you could've drilled small holes to let air escape from the model and give the idea of struggle and ship failure. That's just my opinion though.
I think the 2nd squid is a spare one or she wasn't satisfied about first one. The 2 transparant sticks are to hold the squid in place for when the liquid is poured into the mold.
I couldn't help but notice your spraying technique is wrong - you're spraying in a crescent shape which means more material deposited in the middle and less at the edges - it needs to be an even side to side motion maintaining distance the same each pass - you move you whole hand and arm as though wiping a window with your wrist static, not just moving at your wrist as though painting. This will give you more even coats.

What do you use to prevent the figures painted with acrylic paint from being affected by epoxy resin and the paint from flowing? Congratulations on another great work of art.
@@avonleariotto535 I tried transparent spray varnish, but since I applied the varnish a little thickly, it was affected by the resin and created a bad appearance. The minibricks channel also seems to apply spray varnish, but I think the varnish it uses is of different quality than standard varnishes.

Love the 20,000 leagues under the sea theme
your videos are probably the best advertisement anycubic could receive.
I mean.. they are literally undisclosed advertisements
I love how 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea is referenced in this diorama!
Reference? It's the fucking theme!
Missed you guys very much. Hope to see more videos in the future.
Some lights in the sub would have taken it to another level
Then you should put them in the one you build....
@@TheBatman-1989 Overly defensive weirdos are so cringe. There's literally nothing wrong with what they said.

cool idea but then there would be no way to replace the lights once they died…
@@IceDragon978 True, I am quite biased.
I find these videos so relaxing to watch. When in anxious mode... watch Minibricks ❤️

This made me think of the Lovecraft story "the temple"; would be cool to make a diorama of that short tale.

On other diorama RUclips channels they spray the figures with a protective clear coat. I assume minibricks does something similar as well!
